This Week's Agenda

The sixth grade will finish dual units on volleyball and basketball.  We will play volleyball games focusing on each team getting a bump, set, and spike along with playing basketball games where the focus will be on setting a down screen and making a curl cut, pop cut or flare cut off of the screen.

Grades 4 and 5 (Eastman, McMahon, Welty) will continue to work on a fitness circuit which incorporates speed, quickness, agility, and strength.  The students have been working hard on the circuits the last couple of weeks in class.

Third grade (Norman) will work on and play a couple of movement games that involve balance, speed, coordination, and teamwork.

The following classes will continue basketball units, focusing on two ball dribbling (O’Neal and Ahonen)—one ball dribbling for kindergarten and learning about over the head passing (all groups):
2-O’Neal
1-Ahonen
K-Hill
K-Catton

Pre-school will work on dribbling a basketball and work on a movement game.
