This Week's Agenda

Welcome Back! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

Middle School
Students worked on creating a workout plan to help them reach their fourth quarter President’s testing goals near the end of the second quarter and we will begin to put that into action in to play in the third quarter by actually doing the plan at home and writing the results down in journals. We will also start to work on some teamwork oriented activities within class.

Grades 4/5
We will start to work on teamwork games and activities and discuss what teamwork is and why it is important, and how we can use teamwork in everyday life.

Grades 2/3
We will start a basketball unit this, focusing on dribbling—knees bent, head up, using our fingertips, and dribbling the ball below our waist.

Kindergarten/Grade 1
We will come back to our throwing and catching—using both our strong hand and opposite hand. We will also work with the jump ropes and do some movement activities.

Preschool
We will work on stretches and some movement activities.

As always, it is expected that each student is to come to class each day with their gym uniform, have a good attitude, ready to learn, and ready to work.
