Colder Weather--Sweatpants and Sweatshirts

Parents,

It is getting colder outside, so students may start wearing sweatpants over the top of their PE shorts and sweatshirts over the top of their PE shirt.  The true PE uniform consists of our Holy Spirit gym shirt, Holy Spirit gym shorts, socks, and tennis shoes, but the sweats are acceptable in the colder months.

Sweatpants need to be navy, black, or gray and need to be plain--a stripe(s) down the side of the pant is acceptable and the sweatpant needs to come down to the ankle.  PTO does have some sweatpants for purchase, but you do not need to purchase from PTO if the student already has acceptable sweatpants to wear.

Sweatshirts may be worn over the PE shirt, but the only sweatshirts that are acceptable to wear are sold by PTO.  Sweatshirts may be a traditional, pull-over, or fleece material.  However, if a sweatshirt is going to be worn, it must have the Holy Spirit emblem on it.

Hoodies should not be worn during PE class due to safety issues.

Thank you.
